Job summary

Sopra Steria Polska is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (PHP, Symfony) with French to join our team in Katowice to work on a French client’s project.

You will develop and maintain applications, design APIs, build CI/CD pipelines and ensure quality with unit and end-to-end tests.

This role requires strong communication in French and English, willingness to travel occasionally, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in application development and automation.
• Strong hands-on PHP, Symfony and MariaDB.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs and system integrations.
• Experience in backend and frontend development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.
• Experience with unit and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Experience with application containerization technologies.
• Strong documentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent French and English (min. B2) for client communication.
• Willingness for occasional business trips to Katowice.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance PHP/Symfony applications and services.
