Job summary

Norconsult Poland, part of the Norconsult Group, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to design and deliver safe, efficient structural solutions for Danish-market projects. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality across residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure ventures.

The role requires 5+ years of structural design experience, proficiency in Eurocodes, BIM, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Structural/Civil Engineering or related field.
≥5 years of structural design experience in consulting or contracting.
Experience designing steel and reinforced concrete; timber/composites.
Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and design standards.
Calculations and engineering assessments.
Creating technical documentation, specifications, calculations, and drawings.
BIM in multidisciplinary project teams.
Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Very good English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Design steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures for various projects.
Perform structural analysis, calculations, and assessments.
Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations, and construction drawings.
Coordinate structural solutions with architects, contractors, and other disciplines.
Support project planning, risk assessments, and value engineering activities.
Review and verify technical solutions throughout project development.
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
