Job summary

Norconsult Poland is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to design steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures for Danish-market projects. You will perform analyses, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams in an international setting.

The role requires 5+ years in structural design, strong Eurocode knowledge, BIM experience, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design in an engineering consultancy or contractor setting.
• Experience designing steel and reinforced concrete structures; familiarity with timber and composite structures.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and structural design standards.
• Experience performing structural calculations and engineering assessments.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, specifications, calculations, and construction drawings.
• Experience working in a BIM environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures for diverse projects.
• Perform structural analysis, calculations, and engineering assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations, and construction documents.
• Coordinate structural solutions with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support project planning, risk assessments, and value engineering activities.
• Review technical documentation and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Review and verify technical solutions throughout project development.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
