Zusammenfassung

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Statutory Accountant in a hybrid role based from Wrocław with options from Warszawa, Kraków or Gdańsk. You will prepare statutory financial statements under Italian GAAP, convert to Country GAAP, and collaborate with country leads, tax teams, and auditors to ensure accurate reporting.

You will manage annual disclosures, support tax returns, and drive process improvements while liaising with global finance teams across borders.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Experience in preparation of full set of financial statements according to Italian GAAP.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent business applications skills - Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills and superior teamwork skills and ability to influence multiple organizations.
• First-level university degree with a focus in business or economics, advanced degree and accounting certification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) or master’s degree in accounting and auditing/controlling.

Aufgaben

• Preparation of financial statements according to Italian GAAP.
• Conversion from management GAAP to Country GAAP.
• Ongoing statutory accounting review and booking of adjustments.
• Day-to-day queries on these companies.
• Liaising with the business owners and Global Finance Teams to clear anomalies and with auditors to clear audit queries.
• Prepare an annual set of financial statements and notes following local GAAP.
• Conduct ongoing statutory accounting reviews and reclassifications to comply with local laws.
• Keep Local GAAP Asset Accounts Database revised and up to date.
• Monitor balance sheet risk areas and liaise with country accounting team and auditor.
• Deal with ad hoc accounting queries and fix problems with centers of excellence.
• Prepare National Statistics Forms and Tax returns; assist monthly tax compliance procedures.
