Job summary

DXC Technology in Poland is seeking a Senior Statutory Accountant with German to join its controllership team. The role focuses on leading financial policy development, internal controls, and timely financial reporting for DXC entities in Germany, while coordinating with external auditors.

You will work in a hybrid setup from Wroclaw, Warsaw, Kraków or Gdańsk, bringing 7+ years of experience and fluency in English and German.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent knowledge of English and German (min. B2).
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and control functions.
• Proficiencies in financial reporting, audit compliance, and risk management.
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the development and implementation of financial policies and internal controls.
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits for the DXC companies in Germany.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls for both US GAAP as well as German HGB.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Foster collaboration and teamwork within the controllership team.
