Job summary

Yuno is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead Trust & Vault, the domain that secures card data and optimizes its use across every transaction on the platform. You will architect PCI-compliant vaulting, tokenization, and authentication, and scale these capabilities in production.

This hands-on leadership role requires building bank-grade, resilient systems, promoting a You Build It, You Run It culture, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with Product and the CTO Office on cross‑domain

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with Go and/or Kotlin.
• Proven ability architecting robust distributed systems with event-driven design.
• Experience with tokenization, card vaulting, authentication, or PCI infrastructure.
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud services (RDS, ECS, EKS, S3, etc.).
• Excellent automated testing practices within CI/CD and DevOps.
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own domain architecture and technical leadership for Trust & Vault.
• Build bank-grade PCI-compliant vaulting and authentication capabilities.
• Drive payment-optimization features to lift throughput.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and multi-tenant scalability.
