Job summary

Antal Poland is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to manage HashiCorp Vault in an on-premises environment. You will support application integrations, guide best practices for Secrets Engines and Authentication Methods, and help design scalable, secure secrets management solutions.

You will collaborate with distributed teams, handle incidents, and contribute to monitoring and automation efforts using Terraform and related tools. Hybrid work model in a large international setting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on Vault experience, preferably on-premises.
• At least 3 years of Terraform and infrastructure automation experience.
• Strong experience integrating applications and services with Vault.
• Good understanding of Vault Secrets Engines and Authentication Methods.
• Experience troubleshooting Vault integrations and improving service efficiency.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring/alerting tools like Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics or SCOM.
• Experience managing complex incidents and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience working in Agile teams and using Jira/Jira Service Management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation to teams integrating applications with HashiCorp Vault.
• Advise on onboarding strategies and best practices for Vault Secrets Engines and Authentication Methods.
• Design secure, scalable secrets management solutions and improve efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot integration issues and service inefficiencies.
• Monitor usage trends and identify performance improvements and resilience gains.
• Create documentation, onboarding guides and self-service materials.
• Support automation and IaC initiatives using Terraform and other tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across locations and time zones in an Agile setting.
• Participate in occasional out-of-hours work for incidents and changes.
