Job summary

Yuno is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture and technical strategy across an AI-native payments platform. You’ll mentor engineers, shape designs for global scale, and own complex, cross-team delivery while writing code hands-on.

You’ll influence engineering direction, ensure high-quality, scalable systems, and collaborate with product and design to deliver impactful financial infrastructure across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with Go and/or Kotlin and strength across the full stack.
• Proven track record designing robust, scalable systems with strong architecture principles.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver innovative solutions.
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native services (RDS, ECS, EKS, S3, etc.).
• Excellent automated testing practices — unit, integration, and end-to-end in CI/CD.
• Proven technical leadership — mentoring and coaching engineers and driving vision.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; quick to diagnose issues.
• English — advanced proficiency, written and spoken.
