Visa is seeking a Senior Manager in Warsaw to lead a high-performing SRE-focused engineering team within the Operations and Infrastructure division.

You will balance hands-on technical leadership with people management, driving reliability, security, and scale across distributed systems and cloud environments. The role requires close collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science.
• 8+ years of experience with JAVA, J2EE and REST/SOAP web services.
• 4+ years of experience with containers (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience in 24x7 environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, conduct root-cause analysis, and lead large projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead a Warsaw-based engineering team with a true 50/50 balance of hands-on technical work and people leadership.
• Design, implement and optimize reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure in an agile environment.
• Foster collaboration with product, design, and operations, and drive automation and Generative AI initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Ensure zero downtime and rapid remediation through effective incident management and post-incident reviews.
