Job summary

SolarWinds in Kraków is seeking a Site Reliability Engineering Manager to join our SRE team. This hands-on frontline manager role requires technical depth, people leadership, and a strong focus on reliability, automation, and customer experience.

You will lead engineers responsible for cloud infrastructure, platform automation, IaC, and service reliability, setting direction, managing execution, and removing blockers while collaborating with product, security, and support teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related field.
• 2+ years of people management or technical team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), distributed systems, and production operations at scale.
• Experience building and scaling operational capabilities through automation, standardization, and sustainable SRE practices.
• Hands-on experience with observability practices, monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident management.
• Solid understanding of containerized environments and modern deployment practices.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of site reliability engineers to deliver reliable and scalable platform operations.
• Own team roadmap planning and align infrastructure investments with engineering and business priorities.
• Partner with product, engineering, security, and support teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, and customer experience.
• Drive service availability, performance, monitoring, and operational readiness across production environments.
• Establish and refine operational processes, including incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Support automation and infrastructure improvements that reduce manual effort and increase service reliability.
• Use metrics, service objectives, and operational insights to prioritize work and improve outcomes.
• Hire and retain strong engineering talent while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
