Job summary

Consensys is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE engineer to own frontline production coverage and drive reliability across time zones. You will join a fully remote, globally distributed team, focusing on incident response during APAC hours and building a sustainable follow-the-sun on-call model with Europe.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps/SRE/platform engineering with production on-call experience.
• Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code in anger (Terraform or equivalent); GitOps-based deployment.
• Cloud depth — AWS primarily, Azure useful.
• Observability as a practice, not just dashboards: Prometheus/Grafana, alerting, SLIs.
• Comfortable being the only person awake on your continent; proactive, clear documentation.
• Scripting/automation — Python, Go or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Front-line on-call coverage for production networks during APAC hours; triage, escalation and incident resolution.
• Assist in designing a follow-the-sun on-call rota with the European team.
• Coordinate deployments and maintenance windows in APAC hours (node upgrades, chain releases, maintenance).
• Develop runbooks, tune alerts and improve observability to reduce paging.
• Work on platform build tasks: Kubernetes, GitOps, IaC, CI/CD pipelines.
• Be the operational contact for APAC-based client and partner teams.
