Job summary

Consensys is hiring a senior DevOps/SRE leader to run a small but critical platform team across Europe, US, and APAC. You will own on-call, incident management, and the transition of infrastructure ownership as part of a major separation from a parent entity.

This is a high-responsibility, executive-level role with global impact. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Kubernetes, IaC, GitOps, and cloud platforms, and demonstrates calm leadership under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience leading DevOps/SRE/platform teams of 4+ people.
• Ability to read Terraform diffs and debate changes.
• Ownership of production systems with explicit availability commitments.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• Experience in separation, migration, or carve-out projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and run an on-call and incident management capability.
• Form and govern the NOC/SOC interface with Security.
• Transition infrastructure ownership from a legacy stack to IaC.
• Define and uphold incident response, runbooks, and post-incident reviews.
• Engage with clients to explain outages and reliability commitments.
