Modus Create is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable, observable systems across a modern backend stack. You will collaborate with developers, platform engineers, and operations to reduce toil, improve uptime, and prevent incidents at scale.

As a Senior SRE, you will own 24/7 on-call rotations, define SLAs and error budgets, mentor junior engineers, and drive improvements in performance and automation while supporting AI workloads and containerized

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering at scale.
• Strong proficiency in one cloud platform: AWS expertise (ALB, ECS/Fargate, RDS Aurora, Lambda, IAM).
• Production Python backend experience; comfortable debugging Python services in containers and Lambdas.

Responsabilités

• Design observability systems (metrics, logging, tracing) and define SLOs and budgets.
• Own 24/7 on-call rotation with 10-minute acknowledgment SLA.
• Establish reliability standards and SLA targets for backend services.
• Mentor and onboard additional SRE engineers as team scales.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and postmortems.
• Build self-healing automation and toil-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate reliability into delivery.
• Support AI workloads and modern cloud workloads; ensure operational excellence.
• Create runbooks, architecture docs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Review infrastructure changes and contribute to reliability standards.
