Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager for Best Cost Location (BCL) to identify, develop, and manage a high-performing supplier base globally. The role drives cost savings, supplier qualification, and strategic negotiations across regions.

You will lead end-to-end sourcing activities, perform TCO analyses, collaborate with engineering, quality, and finance, and travel internationally up to 30% as required, shaping resilient, compliant supply chains for a regulated medical technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of total experience with 3-5 years in sourcing or procurement.
• Experience executing supplier evaluations and commercial negotiations, contract management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to lead multiple tasks.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Work Flexibility: Hybrid Stryker is hiring a Senior Sourcing Manager, Best Cost Location (BCL), responsible for identifying, developing, and managing a high-performing supply base in specific regions globally. This role is at the forefront of the organization’s global supply base optimization agenda, driving measurable savings through rigorous vendor evaluation, structured commercial negotiation, and long-term supplier relationship management within a regulated industry. The position requires a strategically minded professional who can balance cost efficiency with quality, compliance, and supply chain resilience across a range of categories.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and develop supplier opportunities in Best Cost Locations (BCL) across regions such as Eastern Europe.
• Conduct market intelligence and supplier benchmarking to drive sourcing decisions and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end supplier qualification activities, including capability assessments, financial due diligence, quality audits, and compliance reviews.
• Manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and onboard new suppliers.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable contract terms, and long-term value creation.
• Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses and sourcing strategies to ensure sustainable savings and supply chain efficiency.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, driving performance through KPIs, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with sourcing, engineering, quality, finance, and logistics stakeholders to align supplier strategies with business objectives and mitigate supply chain risks.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience required 10+ years preferably with 3-5 years of sourcing or procurement experience, with exposure to international or BCL supplier management.
• Demonstrated experience executing supplier evaluations and commercial negotiations, contract management, ideally with vendors in BCL regions.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard procurement systems.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and basic trade compliance concepts.
• Ability to travel internationally without specific restrictions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Flexibility to communicate across multiple time zones in support of global stakeholders and project related activities.

Preferred

• Experience operating in a highly regulated industry.
• Further education towards an MBA or related procurement/supply chain qualification.
• Experience working with suppliers in South / Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, or Central & Latin America.
• Working knowledge of a second language relevant to BCL regions.

Poland Pay Ranges: Poland: zł243.900 - zł406.500 PLN Annual

The compensation information posted for this role may be presented as a salary range or a fixed amount depending on the role. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for incentive compensation (such as bonus and/or commissions where applicable), along with Stryker's comprehensive benefits package.

Work Flexibility Remote - Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based - You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Onsite - Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid - You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
