Job summary

Altium Limited, part of the Renesas Group, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop cloud-based Altium 365 features in a hybrid Poland environment (Katowice or Wroclaw). You will work on cloud-native services with .NET Core, microservices, and AWS, tackling multi-tenant architectures and high-load distributed systems.

You will collaborate with R&D teammates, contribute to scalable infrastructure, and mentor others while delivering robust software for electronics engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience developing cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
• Proficient in .NET Core/.NET Framework and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL; FireBird or Oracle are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop product features for cloud applications as part of the Altium 365 R&D team.
• Work with a stack of .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architecture, and distributed high-load systems.
• Collaborate and share knowledge with the team.

A day in the life of our Senior Software Engineer:

As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary role will be product development for complex cloud applications with the Altium 365 R&D team.

• Work with a tech stack of .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architecture, and distributed high-load systems.
• Handle tech challenges different from most others on the market, a mixture of complex engineering software, microelectronics and cloud services
• Add to the team’s expertise through collaboration and sharing knowledge

The working mode is hybrid: 3 days a week from one of our offices (Katowice or Wroclaw).

Required technology experience:

• .NET Core, .NET Framework.
• Microservices.
• CI, CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• MySQL (FireBird, Oracle as a plus).

Will be a plus:

• AWS, EC2, ECS, RDS, etc. - or Azure/GCP
• Multi-tenant architecture
• Sentry, New Relic for alerts and monitoring
