Job summary

Altium Limited, a Renesas Group company, invites a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the Altium 365 R&D cloud platform. You will develop cloud-native features, work in a multi-tenant environment, and tackle high-load system challenges with a modern .NET/AWS stack.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and ongoing product improvements within a hybrid work model (office days in Katowice or Wroclaw).

Qualifications

• Experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework in cloud apps.
• Proficient in microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and container tech.
• Hands-on with relational databases like MySQL; familiarity with cloud tooling.

A day in the life of our Senior Software Engineer:

As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary role will be product development for complex cloud applications with the Altium 365 R&D team.

• Work with a tech stack of .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architecture, and distributed high-load systems.
• Handle tech challenges different from most others on the market, a mixture of complex engineering software, microelectronics and cloud services
• Add to the team’s expertise through collaboration and sharing knowledge

The working mode is hybrid: 3 days a week from one of our offices (Katowice or Wroclaw).

Qualifications

Required technology experience:

• .NET Core, .NET Framework.
• Microservices.
• CI, CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• MySQL (FireBird, Oracle as a plus).

Will Be a Plus

• AWS, EC2, ECS, RDS, etc. - or Azure/GCP
• Multi-tenant architecture
• Sentry, New Relic for alerts and monitoring
