Job summary

Altium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the Altium 365 cloud platform. You will develop cloud-native features for scalable infrastructure and collaborate with a cross-functional R&D team.

You’ll work with .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architectures, and distributed high-load systems, while applying database skills across MySQL, FireBird, and Oracle. The role is hybrid (3 days in Katowice or Wroclaw).

Qualifications

• Experience with microservices and scalable cloud apps.
• Familiarity with relational DBs: MySQL, FireBird, Oracle.
• Strong collaboration and quick learning in a fast-paced R&D team.

Responsibilities

• Product development for complex cloud applications in Altium 365 R&D.

A day in the life of our Senior Software Engineer:

As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary role will be product development for complex cloud applications with the Altium 365 R&D team.

• Work with a tech stack of .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architecture, and distributed high-load systems.
• Handle tech challenges different from most others on the market, a mixture of complex engineering software, microelectronics and cloud services
• Add to the team’s expertise through collaboration and sharing knowledge

The working mode is hybrid: 3 days a week from one of our offices (Katowice or Wroclaw).

Qualifications

Required technology experience:

• Microservices.
• MySQL (FireBird, Oracle as a plus).

Will be a plus:

• Sentry, New Relic for alerts and monitoring
