Job summary

Altium Limited, a part of the Renesas Group, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive product development for our cloud-based Altium 365 platform. You will build and scale cloud-native applications, contribute to multi-tenant infrastructure, and work with a modern stack.

In a hybrid setup, you’ll work 3 days a week from our Katowice or Wroclaw offices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, tackling challenging engineering problems, and advancing the next wave of electronics design

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-native, scalable applications.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based applications for Altium 365 platform.
• Work with .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architecture.
• Address challenges spanning engineering software, microelectronics and cloud services.

A day in the life of our Senior Software Engineer:

As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary role will be product development for complex cloud applications with the Altium 365 R&D team.

• Work with a tech stack of .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architecture, and distributed high-load systems.
• Handle tech challenges different from most others on the market, a mixture of complex engineering software, microelectronics and cloud services
• Add to the team’s expertise through collaboration and sharing knowledge

The working mode is hybrid: 3 days a week from one of our offices (Katowice or Wroclaw).

Required technology experience:

• .NET Core, .NET Framework.
• Microservices.
• CI, CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• MySQL (FireBird, Oracle as a plus).

Will be a plus:

• AWS, EC2, ECS, RDS, etc. - or Azure/GCP
• Multi-tenant architecture
• Sentry, New Relic for alerts and monitoring
