I’m working with a global financial institution that is looking for a Senior Software / ML Engineer to join a team building production-grade AI/ML solutions within quantitative investment.

This is a strong engineering role — ideal for someone who enjoys writing high-quality Java, building scalable systems, and applying modern AI/ML technologies to real-world problems.

What you’ll be working on

• Building production-grade AI/ML systems rather than just prototypes
• Developing scalable, reliable and highly testable Java services and libraries
• Working with LLMs / Generative AI and modern ML technologies
• Building ML and data infrastructure for large-scale applications
• Designing reusable frameworks, libraries and engineering platforms
• Solving complex technical problems across multiple engineering teams
• Applying software engineering and AI/ML to quantitative investment workflows
• Working with data and investment strategies across equities, fixed income and multi-asset

Contract

Contract secured until 31 March 2027, with an intention to extend for up to 4 years in total.
