The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software/ML, strong fundamentals, experience with distributed systems or big data, and a track record delivering production systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering / ML experience.
• Experience building production-scale, distributed or data-intensive systems.
• Strong experience with LLMs / Generative AI OR Big Data / distributed data processing.
• MSc/PhD or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade AI/ML systems, not just prototypes.
• Develop scalable, reliable and highly testable Java services and libraries.
• Work with LLMs / Generative AI and modern ML technologies.
• Build ML and data infrastructure for large-scale applications.
• Design reusable frameworks, libraries and engineering platforms.
• Solve complex technical problems across multiple engineering teams.
• Apply software engineering and AI/ML to quantitative investment workflows.
