Job summary

Arrive is transforming urban mobility and building a global, livable cities platform. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to accelerate our Pulse Core team by delivering robust, self-service platform features and core services.

You will work with a Tech Lead and Engineering Manager, owning end-to-end development, driving code quality, and growing your skills in a fast-paced, AI-enhanced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep backend experience with Java, Kotlin or Go and strong API design.
• Hands-on Node.js with TypeScript/JavaScript beneficial.
• Experience with DevOps/SRE practices and production deployments.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Able to design scalable distributed systems and write tests.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features end-to-end from requirements to production.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code primarily in Node.js and backend languages.
• Embrace AI-assisted development in daily workflows.
• Own services in production, including deployment, monitoring and incident response.
• Contribute to system design and infrastructure planning across cloud and on-premise.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and collaborate with product and design teams.
