Job summary

Oversee is hiring a senior software engineer to build production AI agents for global enterprises. You will design and ship scalable backend systems, focusing on LLM-driven workflows, retrieval, tool calling, and real-time decision-making.

You will own end-to-end architecture, collaborate with product teams, and tackle performance, latency, and cost challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and backend engineering skills.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, distributed applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered products or features in production.
• Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG, tool calling, or orchestration systems.
• Understanding production AI systems: evaluation, reliability, latency, cost, failure handling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale AI-driven systems powering virtual agent capabilities (conversational reasoning, retrieval, tool calling, automation).
• Develop backend services and data pipelines integrating multiple APIs (Amadeus, Sabre, internal systems) for real-time decision-making.
• Build and deploy AI agents solving real-world business problems.
• Design evaluation, testing and observability to monitor agents in production and improve accuracy and reliability.
• Address challenges of probabilistic AI systems: latency, failures, model behavior, cost, scalability.
• Own problems end-to-end from problem understanding to deployment and production monitoring.
• Shape architecture decisions for distributed, high-performance AI applications.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and technical direction.
• Collaborate with Product to translate business problems into reliable AI-powered solutions.
