Job summary

Peloton Interactive is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead an agile team building scalable microservices powering core features across Bike, Tread, and Digital platforms. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor APIs, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to deliver high- impact services with reliability and performance in a fast-growing environment.

Expect on-call rotation and global cooperation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• 6+ years of software development experience building backend cloud systems.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with Spring Boot, web frameworks, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate business-critical APIs and services with high availability, low latency, security and scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers and communicate with TPM and Product.
• Write clean, well-tested code for maintainability and scalability.
• Architect reusable code and patterns across teams.
• Lead architecture discussions and reviews; drive incident response and on-call efforts.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA as a domain expert.
