Job summary

Arrive is transforming urban mobility from Łódź, offering a full-stack Tech Lead role within the Operational Finance team. You will guide the team in designing scalable backend services, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions to deliver reliable invoicing and remittance capabilities.

You will work with Java/Kotlin, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern data tools, ensuring production readiness and high-altitude performance. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and operating highly available, scalable distributed systems.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Expert-level Spring (Java) in a microservice environment.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Strong data modeling with PostgreSQL/Snowflake/Looker.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Experience with robust testing strategies including BDD.
• Solid DevOps ownership and production incident handling.
• Strong RESTful API design and consumption.
• Experience with DB migrations (Flyway/Liquibase).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the team, including architectural decisions.
• Mentor and coach engineers to foster technical excellence and collaboration.
• Lead analysis and enhancement of complex backend logic based on new requirements.
• Drive code reviews for high quality, scalable code.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into plans.
• Contribute across all development lifecycle phases from concept to deployment.
• Help reduce technical debt by enforcing best practices.
• Oversee product support and participate in on-call duties.
