Job summary

Shiji Group in Katowice is assembling a dedicated engineering team to create AI tooling, agent infrastructure, and integration layers that other teams rely on. You will contribute to a Python-based platform and work in a hybrid model depending on distance from the Katowice office.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of software development, strong Python, and a solid understanding of SOLID principles. Familiarity with AWS or Azure/GCP, and PoC to production environments is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Python skills for infrastructure and services.
• Solid grasp of SOLID principles and clean software design.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud providers (Azure, GCP).
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve.
• Nice-to-have: IaC with AWS CDK, Bedrock AgentCore, RAG and knowledge base experience.
• Nice-to-have: Agent development with LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK, Anthropic Agent SDK.

Responsibilities

In Poland, Shiji Group focuses on the development of theShiji Enterprise Platform, a comprehensive management platform for hotels.

How we work

We operate in a hybrid working model. Office attendance depends on the distance from our Katowice office:

• Up to 50 km – 8 days per month in the office
  
• More than 50 km and up to 80 km – 4 days per month in the office
  
• More than 80 km – primarily remote, with office attendance on demand, based on the leader’s request, e.g. for larger team meetings or important team events.

Your role

We're building a new team dedicated to AI-driven products andplatform infrastructure. This is a dedicated engineering group, not a supportfunction, you'll be building the AI tooling, agent infrastructure, andintegration layers that other teams rely on.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience

- Strong Python skills as our infrastructure and services areprimarily Python-based

- Sound grasp of SOLID principles and clean software design

- Experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Bedrock, or similarmanaged AI/ML services) or similar cloud provider, such as Azure, GCP.

- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where requirementsevolve from PoC to production

Nice-to-haves:

- AWS CDK experience (infrastructure-as-code)

- AWS Bedrock AgentCore experience

- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and knowledge baseexperience

- Agent development experience LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK,Anthropic Agent SDK, or similar frameworks. Significant plus, as this teambuilds and orchestrates agentic AI systems

- Familiarity with tool-integration protocols for AI systems (e.g.MCP or similar)

- AI-enabled developer are fluent using AI coding assistants(Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, etc.) as a core part of daily workflow,not occasional use. This team builds AI tooling and is expected to practicewhat it builds.
