Job summary

Shiji Group in Katowice, Poland, develops part of the Shiji Enterprise Platform for hotels and hospitality. The role focuses on testing a distributed system with many domain-oriented microservices, supporting hotel operations, reservations, and payments across properties.

The team uses CI/CD with GitLab/Jenkins and Docker for local development and deployment of microservices. The ideal candidate will perform full regression tests, create test reports, and work closely with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working in software/hardware testing field or ISTQB certified.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of QA methodology.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Swagger, Postman, Postgres, Kibana, Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Perform full regression tests on existing software implementations per internal testscripts and QA processes.
• Test new code to ensure integration meets functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Create comprehensive test reports and raise bug tickets for issues found during testing.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of issues and provide sufficient detail to help the development teams understand, reproduce and resolve.
