Shiji is a global technology company providing hospitality solutions. We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive frontend and backend development for a distributed platform used by hotels, restaurants, and services.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with Product Owners, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery while shaping the architecture with DDD, CQRS and event-sourcing patterns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring and growing cross-functional development teams.
• Strong project management skills with ability to plan, execute and deliver projects on time.
• Experience managing Agile/Scrum teams and facilitating ceremonies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architectural and strategic decisions.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Job Description

Software you will be working on is distributed technologyplatform with set of functionalities for hotels, restaurants, spa, golf andmore.

The position is offered on a 1-year contract

Our Daily Work

• Wework in iterations with refinements, plannings and retrospectivemeetings
  
• We useGitlab to sync the code with develop and master branches, and createfeature branch for each User Story
  
• Wecommit daily and use CI/CD using Gitlab/Jenkins
  
• Weopen merge requests and conduct code reviews before merge
  
• We usedocker and docker compose for local development and deployment of allmicroservices
  
• We useTeams to communicate and participate in meetings with other teammembers
  
• Wecooperate with UI/UX department to provide user the best possible looksand feel of application
  
• Wecreate internal packages (NPM, Nuget) to share work with others and avoidrepetitions
  
• Wedevelop API first-platform with focus on integrations and userexperience
