Job summary

Altium Limited is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the Altium Cloud Platforms across multiple regions.

You will automate operational tasks, enhance observability, and contribute to incident management while collaborating with development teams to build scalable SaaS services. Emergent focus on IaC, automation, and relentless reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SRE, DevOps or related role in a large-scale environment.
• Software development experience (ideally working with and as a .NET developer).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, microservice and HA architecture.
• Observability tools: NewRelic, ELK, Grafana, PagerDuty, OTEL or similar.
• Production Kubernetes clusters, AWS, IaaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, ArgoCD or similar.
• Networking fundamentals.
• Relational databases (MySQL, Postgres) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand how the Altium Cloud Platform works.
• Improve observability and application performance management.
• Develop reliability frameworks and patterns across regions and environments.
• Promote a shared responsibility model for reliability.
• Contribute to incident response and post-incident analysis.
• Assist in system design, platform management, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with DevOps/Operations to promote IaC and automation.
• Drive SOO principles for clear service ownership.
