Job summary

Altium is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of the Altium Cloud Platforms. The role combines software engineering with systems administration to automate tasks, improve observability, and contribute to incident management across SaaS environments.

You will pioneer reliability frameworks, collaborate with engineering teams, and drive IaC and deployment improvements to scale operations globally.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps in large-scale environments.
Strong software development background, preferably .NET.
Deep knowledge of SDLC, microservices, and high availability architectures.
Experience with observability tools such as New Relic, ELK, Grafana, PagerDuty, or OTEL.

Responsibilities

Improve observability through logging, monitoring, and APM to boost reliability.
Develop reliability frameworks and patterns for SaaS products across regions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to promote reliability best practices.
Contribute to incident response, root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
Participate in system design, platform management, and capacity planning.
Drive automation and IaC, streamline deployments for scalability.
Advocate for Service-Oriented Ownership to clarify service responsibilities.
