Job summary

Sii Poland seeks a Senior Control Engineer to work on power supply systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to deliver innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Electrical/Control Engineering and strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, with hands-on ABB control platforms and Control Builder experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• Deep expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithm development.
• Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining MLSL applications for MV drive control systems.
• Analyzing control requirements and translating to functional specifications.
• Developing and validating control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Configuring and testing control logic within ABB platforms.
• Participating in software integration, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Optimizing drive control strategies for industrial power electronics.
• Working with Control Builder and CodeSys environments.
• Collaborating with electrical, control and power electronics specialists.
• Simulating, verifying, and validating control systems using RTOS platforms.
• Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle and documentation.
