Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to work on MLSL-based control systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces, focusing on design, development, and maintenance of drive control solutions.

The role involves translating requirements into specifications, modeling and validating control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink, and integrating within ABB control platforms. Collaboration with electrical, control, and power electronics teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• Expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithms.
• Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage Drives and control systems.
• Experience with ABB control platforms and Control Builder.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems.
• Analyze control system requirements and translate into specifications.
• Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Configure, implement, and test control logic within ABB platforms.
• Support software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
