Job summary
Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to join a project focused on power supply systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Strong MATLAB/Simulink and ABB platform experience are essential. You will work with control builders and real-time simulation environments, developing and validating control algorithms
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
- Deep expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithm development.
- Strong domain knowledge in Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems.
- Experience with ABB control platforms and familiarity with Control Builder.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for MV drive control systems.
- Analyze control system requirements and translate into specs.
- Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Configure and test control logic on ABB platforms.
- Support software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Create documentation and participate in design reviews.
- Collaborate with electrical, control, and power electronics teams.
