Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to work on power supply systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in Electrical/Power/Control Engineering, deep MATLAB and Simulink expertise, and hands-on experience with ABB platforms and Control Builder.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• Expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithms.
• Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems.
• Experience with ABB control platforms and Control Builder.
• Experience in developing and optimizing drive control strategies.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for MV Drive Control.
• Analyze control requirements and translate into specs.
• Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Configure, implement, and test control logic on ABB platforms.
• Participate in software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Support development and optimization of drive control strategies for industrial power electronics.
• Work with Control Builder and CodeSys environments to implement solutions.
• Collaborate with electrical, control, and power electronics specialists.
• Perform simulations, verification, and validation of control systems using Real-Time Simulation.
