Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our remote team, focusing on delivering security solutions using Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms. You will play a crucial role in implementing security improvements and helping customers raise their security posture.

You will collaborate with customers, provide planning input, build and test changes, and share patterns and lessons learned to enhance Security CoE delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of security engineering experience with Microsoft security technologies and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, SIEM/XDR, Azure, AWS.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate progress clearly.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Familiar with OWASP Top 10 and secure configuration principles.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned Azure DevOps stories and tasks according to sprint priorities.
• Implement security improvements across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and cloud security tooling.
• Provide estimates and feasibility input during planning and refinement sessions.
• Maintain work items with clear progress notes, completed hours, and technical context.
• Document delivered work, including key decisions, testing evidence, and support considerations.
• Facilitate demos and knowledge transfer to ensure customers understand and can effectively use implemented solutions.
• Share reusable patterns, scripts, and lessons learned to enhance Security CoE delivery.
