Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our remote team, focusing on Microsoft security technologies and cloud platforms. You will deliver security improvements, work with customers to enhance their security posture, and contribute to strategic security maturity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security engineering with Microsoft security tech and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, SIEM/XDR, Azure, AWS.
• Troubleshoot across customer environments and report progress clearly.
• Strong written skills for Azure DevOps updates and documentation.
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Familiar with secure configuration principles and OWASP Top 10.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Azure DevOps stories and tasks according to sprint priorities.
• Implement security improvements across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and cloud tooling.
• Provide estimates and feasibility input during planning and refinement sessions.
• Maintain work items with progress notes, completed hours, and context.
• Identify and raise risks early regarding scope, effort, complexity or dependencies.
• Build, test, and validate changes against acceptance criteria and security standards.
• Document delivered work, including key decisions and testing evidence.
• Facilitate demos and knowledge transfer to ensure customers understand implemented solutions.
• Share reusable patterns, scripts, and lessons learned to enhance Security CoE.
