Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our remote team, focusing on delivering security solutions using Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms. You will work with customers to enhance their security posture and contribute to strategic security maturity.

You will implement security improvements across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and cloud tooling, document decisions, demonstrate solutions, and share patterns and lessons learned to strengthen the Security CoE delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of security engineering experience with Microsoft security technologies and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, SIEM/XDR, and cloud tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting and clear progress communication for customer environments.
• Proficient written communication for Azure DevOps updates and documentation.
• Experience with scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Knowledge of secure configuration principles and OWASP Top 10.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Azure DevOps stories and tasks per sprint priorities.
• Implement security improvements across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and cloud tooling.
• Provide estimates and feasibility input during planning sessions.
• Maintain work items with progress notes and technical context.
• Identify risks early and flag potential delivery impacts.
• Build, test, and validate changes against acceptance criteria and security standards.
• Document delivered work with decisions, testing evidence, and support considerations.
• Facilitate demos and knowledge transfer to customers.
• Share reusable patterns and lessons learned to improve Security CoE delivery.
