Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for a remote team focused on delivering security solutions using Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms. You will implement security improvements, work closely with customers to enhance their security posture, and contribute to strategic security maturity.

Responsibilities include delivering Azure DevOps stories, building and testing security changes, and sharing reusable patterns with the Security CoE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in security engineering with hands-on expertise in Microsoft security technologies and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, SIEM/XDR, Azure, AWS, and security operations tooling.
• Fluent English for written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Azure DevOps stories and tasks according to sprint priorities.
• Implement security improvements across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and cloud security tooling.
• Provide estimates and feasibility input during planning and refinement sessions.
• Maintain work items with progress notes, hours, and technical context.
• Identify and raise risks early regarding scope, effort, complexity, or dependencies.
• Build, configure, test, and validate changes against acceptance criteria and security standards.
• Document delivered work with key decisions, testing evidence, and support considerations.
• Facilitate demos and knowledge transfer to customers.
