Job summary

Akuo Group, a French renewable energy developer, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Szczecin, Poland, to own wind, solar and BESS development across the full lifecycle from early-stage development to Ready-to-Build and handover to construction. You will lead cross-functional workstreams, coordinate internal teams and external partners, and ensure milestones align with internal development gates.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in renewable energy or infrastructure development in Poland.
• 5+ years of project management experience in complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Proven experience in utility-scale wind and solar development; BESS experience is a strong advantage.
• Good practical understanding of Polish permitting, environmental procedures, land securitization, grid connection and technical development.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience progressing renewable energy projects through Polish permitting, environmental, spatial-planning, land and grid-connection processes.
• University degree in engineering, energy, environmental sciences, construction, economics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership and accountability for assigned priority wind, PV and BESS projects across the development lifecycle, from early-stage development through Ready-to-Build, FID and handover to construction.
• Lead and coordinate workstreams including land securitization, permitting, environmental procedures, grid connection, technical development and support for offtake and financing.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies and milestones; identify bottlenecks early and implement mitigation measures.
• Coordinate internal teams and manage external consultants, advisors and contractors for timely, high-quality delivery.
• Build and manage relationships with authorities, municipalities, grid operators, landowners, local communities and project partners across Poland.
• Ensure projects meet Akuo’s development gates, Ready-to-Build status and handover criteria.
