Job summary

Akuo is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the development of wind, PV and BESS projects across Poland from early-stage development to Ready-to-Build and handover to construction. You will own schedules, budgets, risks, and milestones and coordinate internal teams and external consultants with field presence across Poland.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in renewable energy or infrastructure development in Poland.
• 5+ years of project management experience in complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Proven experience in utility-scale wind and solar development; BESS experience is a strong advantage.
• Good practical understanding of Polish permitting, environmental procedures, land securitization, grid connection and technical development.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience progressing renewable energy projects through Polish permitting, environmental, spatial-planning, land and grid-connection processes.
• University degree in engineering, energy, environmental sciences, construction, economics or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously, while maintaining focus on the critical path.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership for assigned priority wind, PV and BESS projects across the development lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate key workstreams including land securitization, permitting, environmental procedures, grid connection and financing support.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies and milestones; identify bottlenecks early and proactively implement mitigation measures.
• Coordinate internal multidisciplinary teams and manage external consultants, advisors and contractors for timely, high-quality delivery.
• Build and manage relationships with authorities, municipalities, grid operators, landowners and local communities across Poland.
• Ensure projects meet Akuo’s development gates and Ready-to-Build status and handover to construction.
• Provide clear project reporting, recommendations and escalation of priorities and risks to the Head of Development Poland and senior management.
• Foster best development practices and share knowledge across the Polish development team and wider Akuo organization.
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to other members of the Polish development team.
