Job summary

Strada is seeking a Senior HR & Payroll Specialist with German to support the German payroll lifecycle accurately and timely, while upskilling colleagues through training and coaching to enable them to fulfill their role.

You will assist the payroll team end-to-end, support client engagements, maintain payroll reports, and stay current with legislation and system updates in a multinational environment. Remote work and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years relevant experience administering Payroll in a HR environment.
• Fluent English and German skills are required.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and independently while following processes.
• Attention to detail and risk mitigation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support German payroll end-to-end according to standards and client requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for client escalations and implement corrective actions.
• Identify upsell opportunities and support change requests when needed.
• Understand standard and client-specific payroll reports and statutory year-end needs.
• Maintain knowledge of payroll legislation and system updates; manage road map.
• Answer payroll queries from team and clients; assist Operations Manager with client engagement.
• Handle sensitive information appropriately and provide functional support for projects.
