Job summary

Xebia is seeking a skilled front-end engineer in Poland to develop and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript. You will design scalable interfaces, build reusable components with Storybook, and collaborate across product teams to deliver high-quality software. Knowledge of NX, Vite, MUI, and AI-assisted tools is essential.

Work from Poland with a valid permit is required. You’ll join a team focused on AI-driven digital transformation, with strong emphasis on engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend React experience in a product-driven environment.
• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript in modern tooling.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and quality.

You will be:

• developing and maintaining modern web applications,
• designing and implementing scalable and reusable frontend solutions,
• building user-friendly and maintainable interfaces,
• collaborating with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions,
• contributing to frontend architecture and technical decision-making,
• ensuring application quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement,
• improving development processes, code quality, and overall developer experience,
• using modern development practices and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Your profile:

• strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript,
• practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve p roductivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery,
• hands‑on experience with the latest React version and React Compiler,
• experience working with NX, pnpm, and Vite,
• strong knowledge of MUI and Emotion,
• experience building and documenting reusable components with Storybook,
• practical experience with React Hook Form and Zod or Superstruct,
• experience with TanStack Query and Zustand,
• strong testing experience with Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright,
• familiar with modern frontend development tools such as ESLint, Prettier, Husky, Commitizen, and Commitlint,
• hands‑on experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude,
• understand effective AI‑assisted development workflows across planning, implementation, code review, and testing,
• understand MCP (Model Context Protocol), its benefits, and relevant use cases,
• understand the differences between AI models, including their capabilities and costs, and can select the appropriate model depending on the use case.

Work from Poland and a work permit are required.
