Job summary

Optiveum seeks a Senior QA Tester to join a delivery team for a Nordic banking sector client. You will plan, design and execute tests across complex software systems and collaborate with automation testers to ensure robust test coverage.

In this international Agile/Scrum environment, you will drive QA activities, contribute to test strategy, and help the team deliver high-quality software. Strong English and hands-on QA leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• ISTQB certification.
• 8+ years in QA, preferably in Agile teams.
• Ability to drive QA activities as an individual contributor.
• Experience defining, executing and reporting tests for complex software.
• Web and Mobile testing, incl. cloud/mobile platforms (BrowserStack).
• System testing of modern UI (Web/Mobile).
• API testing with Postman and Swagger.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., qTest).
• Practical Jira and Confluence experience.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Good communication in international environments.
• Fluent English.

Senior QA Tester

About the Offer

We are currently looking for a Senior QA Tester to join the delivery team of our global client from the Nordic banking sector, working in an international Agile/Scrum environment. You will plan, design and execute tests across complex software systems and work closely with automation testers to secure optimal test coverage. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.

Key Details:

• Rate: up to 110 PLN/h net (B2B)
• Work Model: hybrid, 2–3 days per week from the office, full-time (40 h/week)
• Location: Warsaw or Tricity (Gdańsk/Gdynia)

Responsibilities:

• Experience in Web and Mobile testing, including cloud-based mobile testing platforms (e.g. BrowserStack)
• Experience in system testing of modern UI (Web/Mobile)
• API testing with Postman and Swagger
• Experience with test management tools (preferably qTest or similar)
• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence
• Strong attention to detail, quality mindset and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and comfort working in an international environment
