Job summary

Solid in Wrocław offers a QA Engineer role focusing on testing distributed systems. You will design and run test scenarios for functional, regression, and integration testing in a complex environment.

You will collaborate with developers and Product Owners to define testing strategies aligned with domain-driven design and automate UI, API, and end-to-end tests using Cypress and Playwright. Proficiency in Polish is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Tester or QA Engineer
• 2+ years in a senior role
• Testing distributed systems, microservices and asynchronous messaging
• Practical knowledge of C#, .NET 10, xUnit, and automation with Cypress or Playwright
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with SQL, PostgreSQL, and containers such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Hands-on testing of REST APIs and event-driven architectures
• Solid understanding of Agile and Domain-Driven Design
• Good command of Polish
• EU right to work in the EU

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and reliability using Grafana dashboards
• Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing requirements and recommending quality standards
• Support the team with test management tools such as Jira + Xray, ensuring traceability and documentation

Key requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Tester or QA Engineer, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong background in testing distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous messaging.
• Practical knowledge of C#, .NET 10, xUnit, and automation tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SQL, PostgreSQL, and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience in testing REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Domain-Driven Design methodologies.
• Good command of Polish.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Kubernetes or OCP.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• Web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Practical knowledge of BDD practices and AI-powered testing tools.
