Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Poland is seeking a Lead QA Engineer (AI Native) to own the quality strategy for a complex AI-driven product with financial flows. You will design end-to-end testing pipelines, perform pre-merge validation, and set production gates while working in a small, senior team.

This role emphasizes hands-on test automation, AI-agent testing approaches, and collaboration with engineering and DevOps. You will use AI coding agents daily to create, maintain, and evolve testing solutions,

Qualifications

• Experience designing and owning testing processes for large, complex products.
• Strong software engineering foundation including CI/CD and deployment.
• Hands-on experience building automated tests and integrating testing into CI/CD workflows.
• Experience using AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor.
• Fluency in Russian.
• Autonomy to own challenges end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end testing pipeline with pre-merge checks and release gates.
• Define quality strategy for AI-generated code.
• Build automated UI tests across browsers and mobile devices.
• Evaluate and integrate external testing tools.
• Collaborate with Eng and DevOps to bake quality in.
• Proactively identify quality risks and share practices.
