Job summary

SPD Technology is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join the floLIVE project on a 6-month engagement. The role is fully remote with flexible hours to align with Israel time zones and international teams.

You will design and implement automated tests, maintain CI/CD integration, and collaborate with Product and QA teams to define testing strategies. You should have 4+ years in automation testing, 2+ years in Java or Kotlin, and experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, Docker, and

Qualifications

4+ years of automation testing experience in commercial software development.
2+ years with Java or Kotlin.
Design and implement automated test scenarios and test cases from specifications.
Experience with automated test tools and testing frameworks.
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse) and writing queries.
Experience with Kafka and messaging pipelines.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong English communication for international teams.
Proactive, results-oriented with ownership.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automation tests to increase and maintain quality and efficiency.
Keep automation current, flexible, and designed to work within a continuous integration/deployment framework.
Work with Product and QA automation teams to build a test strategy.
Work with CI & DevOps teams to continually run your tests in CI/CD frameworks.
