The Codest is seeking an experienced QA / Test Automation engineer to join its fintech project. You will generate automated test scripts, craft detailed test plans, and drive testing across development stages in an AWS-based environment.

You will work with an international team, applying PyTest and Selenium for automated validation, performance and integration tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Fluency in English is essential.

Formación

• 4+ years of Quality Assurance or Test Automation experience.
• Proficiency in a programming language, preferably Python.
• Experience with Selenium and PyTest for test automation and performance testing.

Responsabilidades

• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing tasks effectively.
• Identify, document, and track bugs meticulously.
• Execute comprehensive regression testing post-bug resolution.

• Monitor quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Project Description:

In this role, you will contribute to a fintech project about providing loans to funds managed by asset managers. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to its automation. The app is hosted on a stand-alone AWS account. Some automation has already been implemented, but there are more plans in the pipeline.

Your Responsibilities:

• Generate automated test scripts to validate product functionality and performance across development stages.
• Formulate detailed and well-organized test plans and cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing tasks effectively.
• Identify, document, and track bugs meticulously.
• Execute comprehensive regression testing post-bug resolution.
• Establish and implement testing procedures to align with client requirements.
• Monitor quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Key Requirements:

• Advanced English in speaking and writing (you will be working with in an international team)
• 4+ years of Quality Assurance / Test Automation experience.
• Proficiency in a programming language, preferably Python.
• Experience in performance testing, integration testing, and test automation, and preferably with Selenium and PyTest.
• Background in software integration and system testing within cloud environments (AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD, including integration with Build pipelines.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence and Jira).
• Knowledge of REST/JSON and/or SOAP/XML web services.
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary browser technologies.
