Job summary

Senior QA Automation Engineer is sought to join Jit’s delivery team to build robust automated testing and improve software quality across modern web and service-based applications. You will collaborate with developers, manual testers, Product Owners and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Key responsibilities include designing automated tests for Front-End and Back-End, driving test automation, and performing performance tests with JMeter.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation.
• Strong Web/UI Testing, API/REST Testing, Functional Testing and Automated Functional Testing.
• Solid programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Rest-Assured, Postman, Maven and Chrome DevTools.
• Strong Performance Testing experience using JMeter.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence and test management tools (qTest preferred).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
• ISTQB Foundation Level knowledge.
• Strong communication and ability to drive QA in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for Front-End and Back-End applications.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to improve quality.
• Reduce manual testing through effective test automation.
• Execute and maintain performance tests using JMeter.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain test data for testing activities.
• Monitor, analyze, and document test results; investigate defects.
• Drive continuous improvements in test automation coverage and processes.
• Contribute to QA best practices across the delivery team.
