Job summary

ITConnect is seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer in Poland to lead long-term automation efforts. You will develop automated tests for GUI and API flows, coordinate with developers, testers, and product owners, and push for broad automation coverage.

You will implement test automation using Java with Playwright, Selenium, and Rest-Assured, while leveraging tools like Maven, JUnit, and CI/CD pipelines. A hybrid work model is offered with on-site weeks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on test automation experience in GUI and REST services.
• Strong Java coding skills.
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright).
• Knowledge of performance testing with JMeter.
• Familiarity with test management tools (qTest).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo).
• Good communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Implement automated test cases coordinating with developers, testers, and product owners.
• Reduce manual testing by automating frontend and backend flows.
• Perform performance testing using JMeter.
• Gather and manage test data for testing.
• Monitor, debug and document test results.
• Drive improvements to automated test coverage.
• Support QA activities across delivery team.
• Grow competences in test automation and drive adoption.
