Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a Nordic banking project. You will design and execute automated tests for backend and frontend systems, using Playwright, Cucumber, Java, and TypeScript.

The role involves API testing, test case documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure reliability and quality. Based in Poland with a hybrid model (office in Gdańsk/Warszawa), you’ll have exposure to international teams, an English-speaking environment, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cucumber, and Playwright for automated tests.
• Proficient in Java and TypeScript for API and backend testing.
• Experience with API testing using WireMock or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Gherkin, SQL, Jenkins, qTest, and Postman or Bruno.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for backend and frontend apps.
• Create and maintain test automation solutions using Java, Cucumber, and Playwright.
• Perform API testing ( automated and manual ) for REST services.
• Prepare test cases, documentation, and reports.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure high product quality.
