Job summary

Fireup is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to design, implement, and oversee multi-level testing. You will build automated tests for APIs, test mobile apps on real devices, and run performance assessments across systems spanning several projects.

You will collaborate with product and development teams in a hybrid workspace, applying AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining high quality and security standards. Strong English and international communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience with test automation.
• Hands-on Java experience and RestAssured for API testing (Spring a plus).
• Programming or scripting in Python.
• Experience with Postman API testing.
• Experience testing mobile apps on devices and emulators (Android Studio).
• Experience preparing and running performance tests with JMeter and/or k6.
• Ability to analyze network communication using Charles Proxy.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, JIRA, Confluence.
• Strong English and ability to communicate in an international environment.
• Openness to using AI tools in everyday QA work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated tests across API, mobile, and performance layers.
• Automate API tests and grow automated test coverage.
• Conduct manual API testing and test mobile apps on devices/emulators.
• Design and run performance tests with JMeter and/or k6.
• Analyze network traffic and report defects with Charles Proxy.
• Maintain stable test suites and identify flaky tests.
• Work with product and dev teams to define acceptance criteria and testability.
• Use AI tools to enhance testing while upholding quality and security.
• Share testing best practices with QA Engineers and Developers.
